I BELIEVE (On Christmas)

One December night I watch a little boy
Writing a letter
And hope with all his might for a special toy
And wish hed been better
And a tear starts to fall as he thinks of what the older boys had said
And he bows his head
And starts to pray
I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe I do
In Santa Claus
I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe dont you
We must because
When darkness falls on Christmas Eve
And we decorate the tree
Its our faith that is the key
On Christmas
I believe, I believe, I believe, in jingle bells
And Christmas cards
I believe, I believe, I believe, in cookie smells
And Reindeer in the yard
When darkness falls on Christmas Eve
And we decorate the tree
Its our hope that is the key
On Christmas
So that little boy, that precious little boy
He need not fear
His father know St. Nick, that oughta do the trick
Same as last year
But a tear starts to fall when Dad thinks that this year might be the last
That his son will pray
For Santas sleigh
And he hears himself say
I believe, I believe, I believe, son, too
In Santa Claus
I believe, I believe, I believe, with you
We must because
As Christ is born on Christmas Eve
And we know the joy of family
We can imagine a world at peace
On Christmas
When darkness falls on Christmas Eve
And we decorate the tree
Its our love that is the key
On Christmas
